Hello, i have a problem with my volvo v50 2,0d 2007. It also jerks/twiches then accelerator is pressed gently for slow accelleration, this effect is felt only when engine is cold. When it heats up, blue smoke dissapears, but strong smell of uncombusted diesel can be felt from the fume.
This is an indication that you have a coolant leak. On the v50, the most likely culprit is a loose hose connection between the coolant expansion tank and the bleed hose.
