Red dead redemptionlike many others rdo players i wanted to change my character right after having played for a while. unfortunately rockstar only allows one. I recently only got back in to rdr2 online and was wondering if they’ve made it possible to change your gender or can you still only change the appearance of your already made character? You can only alter your already created gender.
You would have to remake an online character of the other gender. You still have to delete your character entirely in order to change gender. Submit a ticket and demand that any gold or cash spent on the feature be refunded, letting them know that you're well aware that this was an issue that occurred before, was patched, and was seemingly f***ed up again by their devs.

In short, the answer is no; There is no option to change your gender in red dead online. Because of this, we recommend being careful before making any final decisions when first creating your character.

You can change appearance in online, but not gender. So rockstars removed this. As a day one player, i think it's a little ridiculous that the only way to change your character gender is by deleting all your stuff and starting over.
Now, i play on ps4, so thats the only option i have. But, if i do, i'll lose my outlaw pass 1/2 items, as well as all my other stuff. R* needs to add a second character slot, like gta online.

Dec 23, 2019 @ 6:16pm you can earn a ticket that lets you change but what they need to do is allow us at least 2 player slots to be. Your gender is locked upon creation of your character. Press start, go to player, select her character and then press the corresponding button at the bottom right to delete the character.
Unless they just changed it you should keep your banked money/gold when making a new character on the same account. You lose all bought items though.
