Bernard the brave is a novel written by british novelist margery sharp. it is the eighth novel in a series of nine known collectively as the rescuers which tells the story of two little mice, bernard and miss bianca, and their adventures as members of the mouse prisoner's aid society, a mouse organization dedicated to cheering up and rescuing prisoners around the world. Bianca’s eyelashes were made of a thin wire material, and her hat was made out of a mesh material. She also had thick black eyebrows, which gave her a somewhat grouchy look. Curiously, bianca’s fur color was grey.

The adventure and the villain are slightly lackluster, but provide adequate foils for the heroine. The author's writing style is graceful and appealing. My one problem with this, and the other mouse prisoners' aid society books, stems from.
