To move a sim in without hassle, use testingcheatsenabled true. Otherwise, drag the relationship bar to full and do friendly socials until the [friend] thinks [sim] is being friendly message pops up, then ask the sim to move in. 1)ask the premade to move in.
2)when the screen pops up, click the arrow so that your sim winds up in the premade's household. 3)check off make this the active household. That should work if i remember correctly.
Let me know if it doesn't, i'll go back in my game and try it again in case i missed something. You can merge households. To do that, i think you just go to edit town in options.
You may have to move out the gold digger though, or place her back in the family bin. If you do that, you would just select her as your active household again, and then select the landgraabs' household to live in and there should be an option to merge them. Well first you would have to have the option move in and it will say that the house you live in they will live in but. where you see the word toggle press the button and you will see her household so you go back to the move in screen where your characters name is and you press on your sim and you will see a little house icon that looks.
