A group of friends are hosting a garry's mod server to play ttt among other things. We want to be able to change skins in game but the only thing i've read is to have a points shop. In the yog's ttt videos they are able to change skins with the skin contextual menu.
Click the “model” entry under the “player” header of the options menu to open the character selection menu. Click on a character model to select that character, then press “q” to close the main “gmod” menu. I do a quick video on gmod showing how to change skin.

In the bottom right corner, you’ll see a flag icon. This is through which you can change the language in garry’s mod. Click on the flag, and choose whichever one you desire by clicking on its respective flag.
Once done, you will now start seeing your new language in the game. Depending on gamemode, you can change your playermodel a few different ways. Scroll through the jobs that that server has listed to find a playermodel you like.

October 31, 2021 ) hold c to bring up the context menu. Find the playermodel button in the top left corner. Select the player model/skin that you want to play as.
After you die next you will spawn with that player model/skin.
