Fortnite players are up in arms over the inability to build through fences. It’s caused by pushing turbo build while gliding; If it ever happens to you, simply release your turbo build and then press it again.
(i said issue because automod) from r/fortnitecompetitive. Have fun in combat when you forget what you left it on and you go to build a wall and put a floor down, or jump off a mountain and place a wall instead of floor. But mine always reverts to wall no matter if that is on or not, that’s the issue.
Well, it could very well be all thanks to a fortnite building glitch; One that has apparently been in the game since the first day of release. Let the bug abuse begin.
This has been in the game since day 1 minus well throw it out there. In this video, i tell you the fix to the issue, to where you can't navigate the fortnite settings menu, on pc. Not sure why it happens, but it usually occurs right after i set up defenses on a mission.
Though most of the time, i am able to switch my weapons. Building just completely stops working. So i don't think it has anything to do with your rig.
I’m able to build defenses and then i can’t build or edit anything. Glitches in fortnite are nothing new to loopers. Og gamers will confirm that the game has had glitches ever since it was first released back in.
Building is a huge part of epic games fortnite and is one feature that sets this battle royale game apart from the rest. so when a glitch arises preventing players from doing just that, it would be. I thought this was a lag glitch when it happened to me on xbox. My controller would vibrate like it was being built, but it wouldn't actually build.
Sorry this happened, it's something that needs to be fixed asap. Happened to me a few times on ps4. Apart from the aforementioned issue, fortnite players are complaining that their build gets canceled when using tactical sprint.
It looks like the game brings out the gun whenever players trigger the mechanism. When you have building active, after tactical sprinting it brings your gun back out rather than your building. Image via epic games.

This isn’t some sort of glitch or bug, it’s intentional, likely to get players used to the new tactical sprint and mantling features that have.
