I have been tinkering with the config to get it to look as real as possible but still seems off a bit so any help would be awsome if possible. If possible please post your config file. I am running triple 27 monitors on a gtx980 if that helps.
To avoid the issues with running surround 24/7, a display manager can be used. This manager will enable nvidia surround as you start the game and switch back to your default desktop settings as soon the game shuts down. It will work for any dx version, for opengl, for any graphics api.

The normal fov in a single screen setup is 77 degrees and is configurable in the seating adjustment screen. When you go multi screen the horizontal and vertical fov are set in the config file. The horizontal fov is set at 50 degrees by default.
