Press ctrl+shift+c to bring up the cheats console. Type testingcheatsenabled true (without the quote marks obvs) hold down the shift key. It is possible to edit a sim in the sims 3 and the sims 4 after creating them in cas by using cheats, having exactly the same options had when they were created.

After editing you can always enable aging again in cas. No need for mods at all, but. with mods you can edit if's and vampires and unicorns, too. Once you have your cheats enabled you’ll want to actually enable the sims 4 cas full edit mode cheat.
What you’ll want to do here is to open up the cheat box with those same commands, here they are again if you’ve forgotten: Ctrl + shift + c. Command + shift + c.
The only option is to save them to the gallery, delete the family you have in the game and replace them with the gallery version. You will loose the inventory and relationship but should keep everything else. They should also loose their ghost parents and that way you can set new relationships.
Edit sim in cas (after certain patch) prior to patch 1. 38, occults don't have this option. However, some life states are still disabled from being edited in cas through this cheat, such as mummy and simbot. Edit sim in cas will not work if the targeted sim is pregnant or wearing their work uniform.
Modify traits for active sim You'll be presented with a menu with the following advanced cheats. Cheat to make friends in the sims 3:

In short, to use cas full edit cheat in sims 4. Open the cheat entry box by pressing ctrl + shift + c on pc. This can also be opened by pressing command + shift + c on mac, or by pressing down all.
Hold shift and click the sim you want to edit. Select edit sim in create a sim from the menu hat appears. You cannot edit pregnant sims, imaginary friends, ghosts, vampires, or mummies.
Wait for the create a sim (cas) tool to open. This will likely take a few minutes. To turn on the full edit mode in sims 4, you first need to activate the cheats feature by opening the console using the ctrl + shift + c key on your keyboard altogether, and typing testingcheats true followed by entering the key on your keyboard.
After that, you need to type cas. fulleditmode to enable the full edit mode in your game.
