I feel confident that you should be able to still make a turban headband based off of my pictures though. 1. ) take a tshirt that you do not need. I used an old aztec print tshirt that i do not wear anymore.
2. ) cut two strips through the shirt. Stitch this end down to stop the elastic from getting lost inside the tube. Make sure the seam (the line where the tube is joined together) is placed in the middle.
Use a 1/8″ (0. 3cm) seam allowance when sewing. You don’t need to ‘backstitch’ because this is only a temporary stitch. Diy, no sew turban style headband, recycle, repurpose, upcycle, use an old tshirt.
Any stretchy fabri,c or old shirt (sweat shirt, tshirt, etc), will work t. Using your rotary cutter, cut out your fabric following the pattern. You will end up with two rectangle pieces.
Fold those pieces separately length wise, with the good sides in. Using a zigzag stitch, sew a straight line down the open long end of each of your rectangles. Leaving as small of a seam as possible.
Pull the top piece inside of the bottom piece. Repeat on the other side as well. Fold the left side over to the right side.
Straighten the pieces up. Open up the headband and you are finished! Fold the fabric piece in half horizontally (lengthwise), and align the edges.

Take the piece of fabric you've just cut and lay it on the ground so that it makes an oval shape as show. Fold the fabric in half, so that the twisted portion is the center of the headband, like below. Place over your head, wear as you like and voila!
