But you should calibrate your wheel, set it to max rotation, and use soft lock on (=100) so the rotation will adapt automatically according the car you use. I confirm this strange bahaviour in certain cars parts of the game. I calibrated my g25 to 900 degrees and set saturation to 100.
The on screen wheel does not follow your physical wheel. However i did some testß and the softlock works perfect at the correct degrees of rotation for the cars i tested. I have my wheel calibrated at 1080 degrees btw.
As far as i know the. Dirt rally 2. 0 wheel settings. Patch 1. 4. 1 has arrived and specifically addresses the force feedback settings for wheels by changing the way that the suspension setting operates.
This means that changing the value on this specifically will alter how the road surface is transmitted through the wheel. Dirt rally 2. 0 has a proper soft lock feature, so the game will automatically set the proper steering angle for each car in the game. For this to work properly, you need to set the operating range to 900° in g hub and calibrate the wheel.
The soft lock doesn't seem to work well in my experience, and unless you want to change your wheel rotation for each car (there's a post somewhere that has what the actual rotation of each car is), 540 degrees is what i'd. I was playing dirt rally 2. 0 last night (really loved it btw) and was messing with the wheel settings trying to find a comfortable group when i started thinking about wheel rotation. Out of the box, dirt rally and dirt rally 2. 0 sets you at 1080 degrees wheel rotation.
I was wondering if anybody still uses 1080. I'm curious what wheel rotation angle you're using for dirt rally 2. 0? Do you set your wheel rotation angle to the full rotation capability of your wheel and then activate soft lock in the options?
Or do you set your wheel rotation angle and lock it so it's the same for all cars? In this guide / tutorial i will show you how to set up the steering wheel and force feedback for dirt rally 2. 0. To skip to wheel settings jump to 3:30 this.
Thrustmaster control panel settings. Dirt rally 2. 0 has a soft lock feature, so it will automatically set the proper steering angle for each car in the game. Spring is not used by dirt rally 2. 0, so the value doesn't actually matter.
Soft lock if supported by your wheel. Set rotation to maximum, and then calibrate in game, and enable soft lock. It will change on a car by car basis.

When you go to the wheel settings pressing the green triangle will allow you to do the calibration. When it asks you to turn the wheel fully don’t do that, just turn it 3/4 (270°) of a full rotation and then press x. For dirt rally, i'd set the rotation degree to 540° in the software for my wheel (t300rs) because it seemed easier for me to take sharp corners.
But for dirt rally 2, i'm considering setting it to 1080 and using soft lock for a more realistic experience. The_ruthless feb 21, 2019 @ 7:53am.
