It always amuses me when people say cowboy bebop is one of the few good dubs considering the dub was done by the same group (and same people) that have done at least half of the dubs since. like, 2000. And their work is generally the same consistent quality. And other half are done by the ocean group, who are more or less the same.
The cowboy bebop anime series debuted in 1998. It aired just 26 episodes, 14 of which were originally aired from april 3, 1998 to june 26, 1998, with 12 episodes remaining unaired because of their mature content. But for bebop, i watched the first episode in subbed & dubbed, then made a decision to continue watching in dubbed. The thing is, bebop’s setting being a western really affects a lot of the way you’d expect the voice to be heard. Cowboy bebop sub or dub.

Probably going to rewatch soon so i am curious. Dubbed is the way to go. Both are good, but you can't beat steve blum as spike, nor wendee lee as faye.
To me personally there are two ways to watch cowboy bebop dubbed and the wrong way. Cowboy bebop excels in going a step further than simply changing japanese dialogue into english. Japanese audio with english subtitles can be too strictly translated.
English dubs require scripts to be adapted to sound natural. Cowboy bebop sub or dub. Take any dub advocates with a grain of salt, tc for example, this board hypes up the black lagoon dub to no end, without mentioning the fact that the dub completely messes up the main character revy.

I know basically nothing about the. Trigun is easily one of the coolest anime series of all time, standing as one of the best space western stories in all of pop culture. The series followed vash the stampede, a gunman with a huge bounty on his head for how much destruction he leaves in his wake.
Cowboy bebop stands out as one of the best animes of all time. And, even more remarkably, its english dub is regarded by some as actually being better than the original japanese performances. Cowboy bebop is probably the best english dub of all time in anime and it's legit better than the original japanese dub.
Go with the english dub. And yes, watch the movie, but only after you've watched the show first. This is the one anime i watch dubbed, because it is the best, however if your preference is to have the original voice actors.
