I'm a bit late to reply, but the only difference is in the cable. The qc25 has a detachable cable, so you can buy the android headphones and also buy the iphone cable separately (or vice versa). The cables are $30 for genuine bose.
Most forum posts i've seen on this don't come with any conclusive answers beyond at least the sound will work. It's the same with normal apple earbuds on android devices. I have some apple earbuds and only the volume doesn't work or only the middle button (for play/ pause and assisstant) works.
