Sorry to let you know but that's a terrible tower. Way too many blind spots. Best design at the moment is a 1x1 all the way up with turrets on giant hatchframes and plant x on ramps.
I know making vids is a lot of work in itself but you really should take the time to update yourself on the current pvp meta before trying. Here's a video showing how to make hanging turret towers, in ark survival evolved. Super good for defending your base.
Ago · edited 5 yr. Heres a basic tutorial for the minimalistic/low costish single pillar towers my tribe uses. Start with 1* 2* 2 base pill box.
Place ur generator so that the wire will come straight up through the middle of a pillar in one of the ceiling tiles. This is a bit tricky and really should be. Yeah sadly anything over the middle of the crop plot blocks rain from watering it.
With these builds you have to manually water them, but there's not much alternative if you want plant xs on the side like this. Guess you could irrigate it or replace them with auto turrets ¯\_ (ツ)_/¯. The auto turret is a fully automatic turret which can automatically target and fire on enemy dinos, players, both, or all (which includes wild dinos) within its range, as well as rpgs, grenade and the magmasaur's searing spit.
The fact that the turret does not need any guidance makes it an invaluable resource to defend against raiding, whilst your tribe is offline. Vault drop the exterior, no more than 2 turrets per hatchframe, 50 turrets per tower, around half heavies half tek, run pillars through each foundation and ceiling, surround with large bear traps, and have gigas ready to munch soakers. If you think you're gonna be raided its probably too late to make reasonable defense.
Use some tek railings around the bottom, but no mater how difficult you make the base of the tower to blow, if the turrets aren't doing the job, it's going to go down. 30 regular auto turrets would be cake to soak. You need to mix heavies and tek turrets to have any real semblance of defense, and remember the turret density is what matters the.

Put a tek forcefield on around 2. 0 lifted 1 wall high in the center keep it from getting teksword/rocket/c4 ran. Put a tek genny ontop of it and the one inside of it should be under a foundation. You can also vault drop the pillars.

You take advantage of the vault mechanic where you can stack them by just destroying the floor after placing or picking the floor up. The vault will just fall straight down. You can essentially just make walls of vaults for people to have to get through.
